World of Warcraft's Armory Overhauled to Support Achievements DateTime:12/11/2008 5:18:50 PM
Blizzard pushed some major upgrades to World of Warcraft's Armory page today (via Massively), enabling several post-3.02 patch features on the MMORPG's character profile site. Tabs cataloging players' Achievements, in-game calendars, and ridiculously detailed general statistics have all been added to the site, allowing for easy reference -- or extra-creepy stalking -- from any internet-enabled computer. The gameplay description tells all: "You are a mighty warrior and a mystical healer trying to clear the molten core of its evil and collect teh (sic) loots. Warrior - to attack an enemy, move yourself close enough and press your button. Priest - to heal warrior and self, press button while having mana. While fully healed, attack enemies with your wand for extra damage."
Why would you ever need to know how many times your Warlock has hugged other players? Who knows? But you'll probably be very thankful for the new-and-improved Armory if the question ever comes up.
